OPEN DIVISIONS INFORMATION!

As we start gearing up for State Wars 21, we want remind all of our OPEN DIVISION teams to start REGISTERING for the event. Deadline to register is June 1st but in the past we have closed divisions out before the deadline because we were sold out. Don’t miss out on the best event of the summer!


State Wars Hockey is very excited to be returning next summer to the Taylor Sportsplex in Taylor, Michigan. When you think of hockey, the state of Michigan instantly comes to mind. We hope you will be joining us for what surely will be the BEST hockey event of the year!


State Wars 20 will be held July 22 - Aug 4, 2025



Every division will play during its own block and these dates are listed below in our Block Schedule section.

When we say OPEN division, we refer to all non youth divisions that we run tryouts in, so this consists of :

  • Girls Major (2006 & younger) and Minor (2010 & younger)
  • Womens
  • Senior AA
  • Senior A/B
  • 35+
  • 45+
  • 55+
  • Junior (2001 & younger)
  • Juggernaut (2004 & younger)
With the exception of PAMA Pro, Girls, and Womens all teams must consist of skaters who live in the same state. (Goalies do not have to).  
Teams can wear their own matching home AND away jerseys.  If needed our official uniform supplier Empire Sportwear can design custom jerseys for your teams at our special rate with free shipping. Please contact us if needed.
