Signature Statement of State Wars Hockey, Inc
The goal of State Wars Hockey is to provide a competitive geographically structured national roller hockey event that gives selected participants a feeling of pride and honor to represent their home state, province, or country.
Governed by the State Wars Hockey staff and guided by experienced and motivated coaches, roller hockey players of the same birth year are given the opportunity to tryout for their state, provincial, or national team, which will compete at State Wars for the United States Roller Hockey Championship.
With the leadership and experience of its founders and developers, State Wars will increase the growth of roller hockey throughout the United States, Canada and the rest of the World.
STATE WARS events
State Wars is the major roller hockey event that takes place every summer where all of the state, provincial, or national teams will compete for the United States Roller Hockey Championship. State Wars is the one awesome event that all the players who tryout for their state, provincial, or national team are trying to make. If you make your state, provincial, or national team then you are considered the best within your division from where you live. You will then begin to practice and train for State Wars with your state/provincial/national team and coach. You will go onto www.statewarshockey.com and view your own player profile as well as the profile of all the other players who make their teams. You will know who you are playing against even before you get to State Wars. Your team will strategically prepare for State Wars because it is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all those who make it. Remember, you choose to go to your state/provincial/national tryouts but you are selected to go to State Wars. It is an honor to represent your state/province/country so bring your "A" game to tryouts. Tryouts held within the US and most of Canada are run by the State Wars Hockey staff, many countries will hold their own tryouts as logistically it is the only way to do it.
WINTER WARS events
Winter Wars (West & East) roller hockey events take place every winter and are open to any teams who would like to compete for the Winter Wars Championship. These weekend tournaments are for traditional teams in the standard 2-year age categories.
MID WEST WARS event
This event will take place in the spring and kick off the roller hockey season in the mid west portion of the country. This event is open to all teams. This weekend tournament is for traditional teams in the standard 2-year age categories.
EAST COAST SUMMERSLAM EVENT
East Coast SummerSlam will take place late spring and is a great preparation for State Wars. This event is open to all teams. This weekend tournament is for traditional teams in the standard 2-year age categories. This event also features the PAMA Pro Qualifier for teams looking to qualify for the PAMA Pro Invitational that summer.
nashty cup event
The NASHTY Cup is an ADULT ONLY tournament held at the Hendersonville Twin Rinks right outside of Nashville. This fun event takes place early fall and is for adult teams looking to have some fun away from the rink in Nashville while playing competitive hockey in a great atmosphere. There are no roister restrictions in this event and are open to players from all over.
STATE, PROVINCIAL, & NATIONAL TEAM TRYOUTS
State and Provincial tryouts take place between each year and are open to any player who would like to tryout for their State or Province. Players who are selected receive the honor of representing their State or Province at STATE WARS. Tryouts are also run in different countries around the World by local coaches and organizers.
STATE WARS
The largest and best event in the sport of roller hockey PERIOD. State Wars takes place mid July to early August each summer. Youth and adult divisions are featured at this incredible event. Teams from all across North America and other parts of the World participate.
